Description
This is the dagger of a Roman Legionnaire. Whether on the battle field of conquest or the battle field of politics the wise man was never far from his dagger. Just ask Julius Caesar if the dagger was an effective tool in Roman politics.
- The edge of the blade is slightly sharpened with an extremely sharp point. The blade is constructed of 440 stainless steel with a fuller down the middle and a short ricasso.
- The sheath of the dagger is steel with complex scroll work and lions. The dagger ends with the traditional ball point tip and features four carrying rings.
- The guard of the dagger is slightly longer than is traditional, but offers better protection of the hand. The Roman eagle decorates each side of the guard.
- The handle of the sword is solid steel with a bi-sectional grip and a heart shaped pommel. The pommel also features the Roman eagle.
