At the end of the handle is a steel cap that secures a small air tight survival kit. The survival kit includes: a fishing hook, fishing line, fishing weights, two needles, matches and striker. The steel cap also includes a water tight gasket, and a compass. The knife includes a tough leather sheath with a snap safety and belt loop. Wings have been pressed into the leather of the sheath.
